Greg joined Fairfield in 1994 to start an acquisition/redevelopment business to complement Fairfield’s national development program. He built a team that purchased over 520 apartment properties with over 140,000 apartment homes representing more than $16.9 billion in acquisition and redevelopment investment. Today he oversees all aspects of Fairfield’s development, acquisition and management businesses. Prior to joining Fairfield, Greg was a partner at Post Oak Partners, a national real estate investment banking firm. There he was responsible for originating and placing institutional real estate debt and equity capital. He was also previously employed in the real estate groups of Prudential Insurance Company in Chicago and Citibank in New York City. Greg received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and his MBA from Northwestern University. He serves on the Board of Directors for NMHC and is a Multifamily Council member of the Urban Land Institute.
