David Luther is First Vice President and Regional manager of the Houston, The Woodlands and Lafayette offices. He joined the firm in 1998 as the Research Manager for South Florida and became an agent specializing in multifamily and retail investments in June of 2001. He was a senior director of the National Multi Housing Group and has earned the firm’s prestigious Vice President Investments distinction. He also was honored as the featured agent speaker at the Marcus & Millichap East Coast/Midwest Sales Meeting.

His management experience includes being the former Regional Manager of Fort Worth and serving as Director of the firm’s National Hospitality Group. In his current position as Regional Manager, he leads a team of 50 investment sales advisors and is committed to growing their business by investing in them through technology, training, brand development, research and team architecture. The Houston office is ranked as one of Marcus & Millichap’s top producing offices and is comprised of investment sales advisors who specialize in the sale of multi-family, retail, office, industrial, hotels, self-storage and senior living facilities.

Mr. Luther is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with degrees in real estate finance and mathematics.
