Mr. Finger has been supervising the planning, financing and construction of multi-family real estate properties in metropolitan areas across the United States for over five decades. He has been involved in the development or rehabilitation of over 25,000 units and chairs the company’s Development Committee, which meets weekly. Mr. Finger, a native Houstonian, graduated from the University of Texas in 1957 with an Engineering Route to Business Administration degree. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Methodist Hospital Foundation and the Downtown Houston Retail Task Force. He has served as a guest lecturer for Rice University’s Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business numerous times and often addresses business and real estate industry groups.

Marvy’s philanthropy endeavors through the Marvy A. Finger Family Foundation have touched civic, medical and educational institutions across Houston, including the Marvy Finger Family Foundation Scholarship which awards scholarship money to deserving HISD students to pursue vocational education after high school.
