JLL has added multifamily to its property management business. The new Multifamily Property Management group will be led by managing director Lela Cirjakovic, who is based in Chicago.

With nearly 30 years’ experience in real estate asset management, Cirjakovic will work with national and regional leaders to focus on building and growing client relations across the multifamily platform. Prior to JLL, Cirjakovic served as EVP of operations at Waterton, where she had direct oversight of Waterton’s portfolio of multifamily properties.

““I spent the majority of my career on the ownership side, and I will continue to bring that owner mindset to every community we serve,” said Cirjakovic.

Previously, JLL has offered property management services for office, industrial, retail and life science spaces. The addition of multifamily property management to the JLL platform will allow clients to capitalize on the rising sector.
