Matthew Ellis oversees the acquisition and capital markets group at MWest Holdings, where he is responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing. Prior to joining MWest in early 2009, Mr. Ellis worked for Wachovia Securities in structured finance, originating over $5 billion in first-mortgage, bridge, mezzanine, preferred-equity, and equity solutions. Mr. Ellis received a bachelor’s degree in geography and economics and a master’s degree in economics and finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
