Megan Mulcahy joined MHP’s Lending Team in June of 2000, and is responsible for ensuring the credit quality of all MHP loans, managing MHP’s capital sources, and maintaining MHP’s loan policies and procedures.

She has extensive experience working with non-profit community based housing developers and large for-profit national housing developers. She has worked with various projects and housing types including 40B-permitted housing, taxable debt, tax-exempt bond financing, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, working capital credit lines, mixed-use developments and sustainable housing. She is experienced at underwriting affordable developments with all MHP’s capital sources – bank funds, FHA, and Fannie Mae.

Mulcahy came to MHP after graduate studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to that, she was the project manager for Buchanan & Associates, an environmental and land use law firm located in Boston. She earned her undergraduate degree in politics at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts, and is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women of Boston (CREW Boston), where she participates in the working group for housing and community development.
