Erik Binkowski is a senior director of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) based in the Washington, D.C. office. He is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, student housing, manufactured housing, office, retail, industrial, hotel, land, data centers, car dealerships and owner-occupied facilities.
Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Binkowski was as one of the heads of the debt and structured finance practice at CBRE covering the Washington, D.C. area. Through his career, Mr. Binkowski has sourced over $10 billion in various types of commercial debt. He started his career at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker before spending time within The Carlyle Group – Real Estate Investments Group. He also spent time at HFF, Spaulding & Slye and Studley during his career, which has allowed him to understand the real estate industry from all aspects (banker, investor, developer, lessor and corporate officer). Mr. Binkowski holds an AB degree in economics from Harvard College.
