Rob Johnson

Rob Johnson
VP – Transportation
NHL Seattle

After a career fighting to improve public transit in Washington State, Rob was elected to serve as the first Seattle City Council member from District 4 (NE Seattle). During that time he stewarded through council the largest city wide zoning changes since the creation of urban villages in the early 90’s, helped pass housing and transit ballot measures in excess of $55B, and dramatically improved the relationship between the City and the School District through the passage of a $600M Families and Education Levy. Rob currently works for NHL Seattle to make sure all their fans can quickly and easily come to the new arena when it opens in 2021. Rob and his wife Katie live in Ravenna with their three elementary school aged daughters.
