In December of 2008 Dino Rossi joined Coast as a principal of Coast Equity Partners. Working closely with Mike Harmon, President, and the firm’s co-founders, Tom Hoban and Shawn Hoban, Dino is responsible for investor relations and acquisitions.

Dino has been in the commercial real estate business for over 25 years. He started his career in brokerage of income properties in the early 1980’s. Within a year and a half of his entry into the field, at age 25, he bought his first apartment building and has owned and operated many properties since then.

Dino’s relationship with Coast goes back to 2004 when he ran for Governor of the State of Washington. As that race was getting underway Dino decided to invest with Coast Equity Partners and had Coast Real Estate Services manage his portfolio.

From 1997 to 2003 Dino served in the Washington State Senate, representing most of east King County. By Dino’s 3rd year In the Senate he was the Deputy Leader of the Senate and the lead republican on the state budget writing Ways and Means Committee. As Chairman of the Senate Ways and Means Committee, Dino received numerous awards for balancing the largest deficit in Washington State history without raising taxes and still protecting the most vulnerable. Dino also received the “Guardian of Small Business Award” from the National Federation of Small Business and the coveted “Jim Matson Award” from the Association of Washington Business.

Dino graduated from the Seattle University, with a degree in business management and now serves on the Deans Advisory Board for the Seattle University School of Business. Dino also serves as a board member of the Special Olympics of Washington. Dino and his wife Terry reside in Sammamish, Washington with their four children.
