Mr. Bochilo joined Bell in 2001 and has since been involved in transactions valued in excess of $4 billion, spanning across apartment, retail and senior housing holdings. Christina Bolter, VP – Mid Atlantic, Lincoln Property Company
Christina Bolter joined Lincoln Property Company in 2014. Christina is the Vice President of Mid-Atlantic overseeing the operations of over 9,000 apartment homes, spanning from North Carolina to New Jersey. Her portfolio includes high-rise, mid-rise and garden-style communities that complement a variety of lifestyles with market-rate and high-end luxury apartment residences. Christina has over 19 years of successful multi-family property operation and business development experience. Her market place knowledge spans the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Mid-West markets.
Jason Bonderenko, SVP – Residential Acquisition, Federal Capital Partners
Jason Bonderenko specializes in the acquisition, asset management and disposition of the firm’s apartment properties. Since joining FCP eight years ago, he has been involved with acquiring or investing in approximately 15,000 apartments valued at over $2.0 billion as well as with the investing of all three of FCP’s real estate funds. Prior to joining FCP, Mr. Bonderenko worked with the Capital Markets group of CB Richard Ellis where he was involved with financing $3 billion of commercial real estate transactions throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
Lisa Bongardt, Vice President, AvalonBay Communities
Lisa Bongardt is Vice President of Property Operations for the Mid-Atlantic communities. This portfolio includes approximately 40 communities with 15,000 apartment homes in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. Prior to assuming her current role, Ms. Bongardt was a Senior Investments Director, focusing on asset management, redevelopment and investments across all of AvalonBay s East Coast markets and Chicago. During this time, Ms. Bongardt participated in over 30 transactions (acquisitions and dispositions) totaling $1.6B and 7,700 units.
Thomas Bozzuto, Chairman & CEO, Bozzuto Group
During Tom’s more than forty-year career, he has overseen and been responsible for the creation of nearly 50,000 residential units with a conservatively-estimated value of nearly $7 billion. In 1988, Tom established The Bozzuto Group of companies with John Slidell, Rick Mostyn and the late Bernie Lubcher. Today, the companies provide a broad range of real estate services, including development, management, home building, acquisitions and construction. In his role as CEO, Tom directs the development, construction and management of income-producing and for-sale housing in metropolitan areas located throughout the East Coast.
Kelly Brady, VP – Multifamily Underwriting & Credit Capital Markets, Freddie Mac
Kelly Brady is responsible for all credit and underwriting functions related to the securitization of K-deals for Multifamily. She leads a team of underwriters that focus on loan level due diligence process required for securitization including rating agencies and investors. In addition, she is an integral part of Multifamily loan approval and structuring. Through her 15 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, including CMBS underwriting and execution, she has a strong understanding of real estate fundamentals, credit risk and CMBS markets.
Sean Caldwell, Senior Managing Director, Mill Creek Residential Trust
As the Senior Managing Director for the Mid-Atlantic Division of Mill Creek Residential Trust (MCRT) Mr. Caldwell is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development cycle from inception through disposition of multi-family rental communities throughout the region. During his career he has been involved in the entitlement, finance, development, construction, asset management and disposition of over 3,700 multifamily units totaling over $800M in total capitalization.
Edward Chaglassian, Principal, JBG Companies
Mr. Chaglassian has 10 years of real estate private equity experience with acquisitions, dispositions, development, financing, and third party joint ventures. Prior to joining The JBG Companies in 2008, Mr. Chaglassian had a previous tenure with JBG as a Financial Analyst. Chad Cooley, Senior Vice President, Bozzuto Management Company
Chad Cooley, Senior Vice President, joined Bozzuto Management Company in 1997. Chad has served in a range of leadership roles including positions in property management, information systems, and asset management. In his current role, he oversees property operations for 40 communities in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland working closely with owners and their representatives to ensure that the strategic goals set for their properties are achieved and asset values are maximized. While working in asset management, Chad focused on refinancing of assets, acquisition and disposition of assets, and strategic planning for increasing portfolio value.
Martin Ditto, President, Ditto Residential
Prior to starting Ditto Residential in 2008, Martin worked in construction and development at Bozzuto, Monument Realty, and ZOM where he managed mixed-use residential and commercial projects. Currently, Martin is chief executive and leads all development activities at Ditto Residential. He is responsible for sourcing acquisitions and investment opportunities, as well as overseeing design direction and growth strategy.
Michael D’Onofrio, Managing Director, Engineered Tax Services
Michael has a strong background in the energy industry. Adam Ducker, Managing Director, RCLCO
Adam Ducker is a Managing Director of RCLCO. Adam joined RCLCO in the mid-1990s as an associate directly after graduate school and learned the trade with the firm. He is a recognized expert in economic development, market and financial analysis; positioning, repositioning, and marketing of real estate assets; consumer research; and corporate strategy development. In addition, she manages completed projects and monitors the development of properties built by MacFarlane and its partners along the East Coast.

Bob Elliott, Director – Development, Washington REIT
Bob Elliott oversees all development activities for Washington REIT’s extensive office, residential and retail portfolio. Over the last 10 years, Bob has managed the development of over 2M SF of commercial and residential development valued at over $1B. Bob has recently completed the redevelopment of the 550,000 square foot Silverline Center in Tysons Corner. Prior to joining Washington REIT, Bob worked at Clark Enterprises in Bethesda and The JBG Companies in Chevy Chase.
Steve Etminani, Principal & Founder, RCP Development Co.
Steve Etminani is the principal and founder of RCP Companies. RCP is an entrepreneurial real estate investment, development and advisory firm based in Washington, DC. Since its inception in 2005, RCP has been instrumental in conceiving and implementing various institutional grade projects in partnership with large institutional investors such as the Carlyle Group and Citigroup Property Investors. John Gray, Director – Investments, Lennar Multifamily
Mr. Gray is Director and Head of the Investments Group for Lennar Multifamily Communities, a vertically integrated apartment development firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Focused on raising capital and the acquisition/disposition of apartment properties, John is involved primarily with new development. Since joining LMC in July of 2011 the firm has closed into joint ventures or purchased land to develop over 9,300 apartment units in the US at a capitalization of approximately $2.1 billion.
Steve Gould, Vice President, Cornerstone
Mr. Gould joined Cornerstone in 1996 and is a Vice President of Acquisitions in the Northeast regional office, with a primary focus on the Mid-Atlantic markets. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Mr. Gould was an Asset Manager with Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company. Mr. Gould also worked for Aetna Realty Investors in both the mortgage and equity groups.Mr. Gould received his Bachelors in Government and History from Connecticut College and his Masters in International Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Kim Hoover, Principal, RED Multifamily Development
Kim, a graduate of Duke University School of Law, came to Washington in 1984 to join Akin Gump as an associate. She practiced law for a number of years with firms including Squire Sanders and Dickstein Shapiro. In 2001, she began her real estate development business and by 2007 was engaged full time in real estate. In addition, she is a partner in the real estate equity firm Allyson Advisors. Kim is on the Board of Monument Bank in Bethesda, Maryland. Kim is also on the Board and is the Treasurer of the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund, which is headquartered in Washington, DC.
Gregory Lamb, EVP & Partner, Jefferson Apartment Group
Greg Lamb is the Executive Vice President and a Partner in Jefferson Apartment Group headquartered in the Tyson’s Corner area of McLean, Virginia. He manages development activities in the four JAG offices located in Orlando, Florida, Boston, Mass., Philadelphia, Pa., and McLean Va. Mr. Lamb has 24-years of industry experience specializing in luxury garden, mid-rise and high-rise product. Christopher Leonard, Regional Director – National Multi Housing Group, Marcus & Millichap
Christopher Leonard is regional director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group (NMHG). Mr. Leonard is based in the Manhattan office and will be focused on expanding NMHG business throughout the United States. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Leonard was a first vice president for CBRE Inc. where he was a leading member of the 12-person New York Institutional Group. He led the disposition of multifamily assets and apartment development sites, while also advising clients throughout the ownership cycle, generating new business and managing junior team members. Mr. Leonard’s responsibilities included providing capital markets solutions to multifamily owners in suburban metropolitan New York and across the country. During his career, he has participated in transactions valued at over $5.7 billion, including some of the region’s largest apartment and office closings. Mr. Leonard received the NAIOP Sale of the Year for Fairfield County – Corporate Center in Danbury, CT in 2009 and Norden Park in Norwalk, CT in 2006.
Bryn Merrey, First Vice President & Regional Manager – D.C., Marcus & Millichap
Bryn Merrey is first vice president and regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Washington, D.C. office and has oversight of the firm’s Philadelphia, North Carolina and South Carolina operations. In June 2012, Mr. Merrey relocated to Washington, D.C. to expand the firm’s presence in the district, as well as Maryland and Virginia. Prior to relocating, he managed the firm’s Tampa office. During his tenure as regional manager, Tampa was ranked No. 1 in year-over-year growth within the firm, achieved significant market share gains and increased closings by a factor of more than 3.5 times in three years.
Benjamin Metcalf, DAS – Multifamily Housing Programs, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development
Benjamin T. Metcalf serves as the Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) for the Office of Multifamily Housing Programs. He was appointed to this position by President Obama on August 9th, 2013. The Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Multifamily Housing Programs includes the immediate staff of the DAS, the staff of the Program Administration Office and the staff of the Office of Program Systems Management. The Office of Multifamily Housing is responsible for implementing multifamily housing programs authorized by the National Housing Act as amended by Congress, subsequent legislation enacted into law, and annual Appropriations Acts. It is widely responsible for production, asset management and portfolio oversight, and recapitalization of assisted properties, and field operations.
Stacey Milam, First Vice President Investments, Marcus & Millichap
Stacey Milam is a first vice president investments and director of the National Multi Housing Group in the Washington, D.C. office of Marcus & Millichap. Mr. Milam joined the firm in 1999 and has been a top agent in the Washington, D.C. office for the past four years. He has earned many firm awards, including 11 sales recognition awards, six National Achievement Awards, the firm’s prestigious Chairman’s Club award, and ranked in the top 20 agents nationally in 2004. Mr. Milam has closed nearly 150 multifamily transactions in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Texas, Ohio and New York over the last 16 years. These transactions included more nearly 6,000 units, of which more than $350 million were multifamily sales and more than $175 million were in non-multifamily commercial transactions.
Johnny Moseley, President, Moseley Construction Group
A Marine Corps Veteran with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Mr. Moseley has spent the last 10 years as a member of senior management with responsibilities involving the business, financial and marketing operations. Mr. Moseley’s project experience ranges from base building construction, stick built condominiums, low, mid, and high rise multifamily construction, apartment complex renovations, commercial and new construction, interior renovations, residential renovations, and environmental management, including lead paint and asbestos abatement.
Brian Murdy, National Director, Institutional Property Advisors
Brian T. Murdy serves as the vice president/national director of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) and Marcus & Millichap’s National Seniors Housing Group (NSHG). Mr. Murdy oversees both the multifamily and seniors housing divisions of IPA, as well as Marcus & Millichap’s NSHG investment specialists. He has extensive multifamily experience and brings 30 years of commercial real estate industry experience to this role. Mr. Murdy is an executive committee member of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Bill Revers, Vice President, Fairfield Residential
Bill has nearly 25 years of multifamily and commercial real estate experience. Bill joined Fairfield in 2004 to direct acquisitions activities in the Eastern Region of the United States. Prior to Fairfield, Bill worked as Vice President of East Coast acquisitions for Home Properties, a Real Estate Investment Trust. Before specializing in multifamily real estate, Bill focused on the office sector and gained experience in the retail, medical, hotel and industrial asset classes for Smith Commercial Realty, a subsidiary of Vornado Realty Trust.
Matthew Robinson, Principal, MRP Realty
Matthew Robinson has over 13 years of experience in the real estate industry. Mr. Robinson pursues multifamily residential and mixed-use acquisition and development opportunities for MRP Realty. Since joining the firm in 2007, Mr. Robinson has overseen the entitlement, development, and repositioning of over 3.2 million square feet including over 1,100 units.
Doug Root, Senior Director – Northeast, Greystar
Doug Root is a Senior Director of Investments on the East Coast. He is primarily responsible for acquisitions and dispositions for the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. Previously Mr. Root was an Acquisitions Associate with Invesco Real Estate. During Mr. Root’s tenure at Invesco he assisted with sourcing, underwriting, and closing over $2 Billion of acquisitions. Prior to Invesco, he competed on the ATP professional tennis tour for 3 years.
Scott Ross, President, ROSS Development & Investment
For more than 40 years, Scott has managed many aspects of the real estate profession,including architecture, city planning, urban design, finance, construction,development and ownership. Prior to establishing ROSS Development & Investment in 1983, he was a Senior Officer of Donohoe Construction Co., Inc. and Sigal Construction/Sigal Development and an Associate Development Director for The Rouse Company. His responsibilities have included the sourcing, acquisition, development, construction, financing and management of over 20,000 apartment and townhouse properties, and more than 1,000,000 square feet of office and hotel properties.
Charles Schoenau, Managing Director, Insurent
Charles Schoenau is a Managing Director of Insurent Agency Corporation, where he oversees multiple aspects of the business. The Insurent Lease Guaranty program was created to assist landlords, renters and brokers in closing residential leases. Its role as the “institutional mommy and daddy” allows thousands of leases to quickly and easily close to the benefit of all parties that otherwise would not close without Insurent. He received his Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton Graduate School of Business in 1976, his Masters of Theological Studies at Harvard University in 1974 and his Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University in 1970.
John Sebree, National Director – National Multi Housing Group, Marcus & Millichap
John Sebree is the director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi Housing Group (NMHG). He is based in the Midwest, working from the firm’s Chicago and Indianapolis offices. Mr. Sebree’s extensive background as a major multifamily specialist spans more than 20 years, 17 of which were as a Marcus & Millichap agent. Most recently, Mr. Sebree was a managing director for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, where he brokered major multifamily properties throughout the Midwest. Prior to this position, Mr. Sebree was an agent with Marcus & Millichap. During his tenure as an agent, he developed a strong brokerage practice in Chicago, opened the Indianapolis office and earned numerous plaque awards, eight National Achievement Award qualifications, and Top 20 and Chairman’s Club designations. Mr. Sebree assumed his current position in 2011.
Donna Shafer, Executive Vice President, Cityline Partners
Donna, a founding member of Cityline Partners, is responsible for Cityline’s strategic planning, and for oversight of the company’s day to day execution of its business plan. Prior to Cityline, Donna was affiliated with West*Group for several years, first as the CEO of Park*Crest, and then as Executive Vice President for West*Group.
Lindsay Steiner, Owner, Bradyl Storage
Lindsay is responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as managing client relations. She is also responsible for developing relationships with storage manufacturers and investigating products in order to provide clients with the best options which meet their buildings’ as well as their company’s business objectives. As the client relations manager, Lindsay is the liaison between the client and project manager, making sure that important information is communicated and milestones are met.
Lynne Strobel, Partner, Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh
A native of Fairfax County, Lynne has been with WCL&W since graduating from law school in 1988. She is experienced in all phases of the land use and development process in Fairfax County and surrounding jurisdictions including Fairfax City, Falls Church, and the Towns of Vienna and Herndon. Lynne specializes in land use and zoning issues for commercial, residential, and mixed-use development and has extensive experience with special permit, special exception, and variance applications. Over the years, Lynne has developed an extensive practice representing non-profits, including numerous places of worship and schools.
Donald Tennant, Senior Director, Institutional Property Advisors
Donald Tennant is a senior director of Institutional Property Advisors (IPA). He has been a leading commercial real estate investment professional in the Washington, D.C. market for 30 years, arranging more than $1.5 billion in transactions since the start of his career. Prior to joining IPA, Mr. Tennant was managing director at NorthMarq Investment Services in Bethesda, MD, a national real estate debt and equity provider, where he launched a real estate brokerage platform specializing in the sale and acquisition of multifamily assets.

Mr. Thompson is a Senior Vice President of LCOR with responsibility for sourcing and implementing new development and redevelopment opportunities in the Greater Washington Metropolitan region. With more than 15 years in the commercial real estate industry, his expertise encompasses a full spectrum of real estate activities including asset management, acquisitions, joint venture structuring, redevelopment/ground-up development, consulting, debt restructuring, and project financing for a full range of commercial property types.
