Alby Gallun joined Crain’s Chicago Business in June 2000 as a reporter. He currently covers real estate.

A Milwaukee native, Mr. Gallun spent more than three years at the Milwaukee Business Journal as a feature writer and a manufacturing and labor reporter. Before that, he also has covered the agriculture commodities markets for Reuters.

Mr. Gallun holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Williams College in Massachusetts and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
