J. Scott Croul is Managing Director at Freddie Mac Multifamily and leads Production and Sales for the Western Region, where he manages customer relationships and production volume and is responsible for regional operations. Scott previously served as Senior Director of Multifamily Underwriting and Credit where he was responsible for the underwriting and credit of all loans in the Western Region. Since joining Freddie Mac in 2010, he has overseen loan volume exceeding $28 billion in the Region. Scott has over 29 years of commercial real estate experience including 14 years at John Hancock Real Estate Investment Group where he established and managed the company’s regional real estate finance operations for the western region. He also has worked at Capmark Finance (now known as Berkadia), Centerline Capital (now known as Hunt Mortgage Group) and CB Commercial (now known as CBRE Capital Markets). Scott is an alumnus of the University of California, Berkeley where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
