Jon joins CleanFund as Managing Director and is responsible for business development for Southern California. Jon has spent his entire professional career – over 25 years – in the Southern California real estate industry as a principal/sponsor at top-tier industry-leading firms such as Clarion Partners, Lennar Urban, OneWest Bank, CA Student Living and Hillman Properties. He has a proven track record in development, value-add, portfolio and asset management, leasing, acquisitions, project management, debt work-outs/restructures on retail, office, industrial, multi-family and hotels. Jon’s background as a principal/sponsor allows for the unique ability to work with both the capital (debt and equity) and the sponsor to reach a mutually beneficially agreement on deal structuring. Jon is from Boston and received his Business/Accounting undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, has passed the California CPA exam and is licensed as a Broker in California. He is also a member of ULI, BIA, NAIOP and ICSC.
