Brian is a producing Managing Director and key revenue driver that brings more than 18 years of direct real estate lending experience to Civic. He leads all strategy and direction for the multifamily channel at Civic.

Brian’s expertise in underwriting distressed commercial and multifamily assets, risk mitigation and asset management are the cornerstone of Civic’s value-add multifamily platform. He has originated or placed more than $1.2B of debt across a wide variety of asset classes throughout his career. With extensive experience as both a lender and an operator, Brian understand the critical needs of our multifamily clients.

Prior to joining Civic, Brian served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Los Angeles based Wilshire Finance partners and was Executive Vice President of SouthCal Financial Group. He has led multiple private money start up platforms to profitability with responsibilities encompassing all aspects of operations, capital raising, branding and marketing, origination, acquisitions, due diligence, underwriting and servicing.
