Mr. Steinbach is Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer, currently a member of the firm’s global Investment Committee and responsible for directing investment strategy.

Since joining Hines in 1999, he has been responsible for real estate acquisitions in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. Prior to his current role, Steinbach worked in Hines’ Southwest Region and then served as chief investment officer for the firm’s publicly registered, non-traded REIT’s investing in office, retail, industrial and multifamily projects globally.
