Eric S. Silverman. Mr. Silverman is a Founder and Managing Partner of Eastham Capital, a private real estate investment business based in Boca Raton, FL. Eastham Capital launched its first fund in 2007, and its fifth fund in 2017. Eastham Capital invests in multifamily properties sourced and managed by a diverse network of local and regional real estate owners and operators who have established successful track records of acquisition, renovation, management and disposition of distressed real estate assets. Mr. Silverman was also a Founder of St. James Capital, LLC, a Bloomfield Hills, MI based FHA-approved lender specializing in multifamily residential housing financial services. In 2012, St. James Capital became a division of Pillar Multifamily, LLC, an affiliate of Guggenheim Partners, LLC, and in 2016 the business was sold to SunTrust Banks, Inc. From 1995 through 2010, Mr. Silverman was the President and then non-executive Chairman of RentGrow, Inc. In 2010, RentGrow was acquired by Yardi Systems, Inc. Before joining RentGrow, Mr. Silverman was a Founder and Principal in St. James Mortgage Company, a Fannie Mae-approved residential mortgage banker. From 1991 to 1994, he directed and implemented the company’s retail expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire and managed operations in those states. Mr. Silverman is also a Vice President of Silverman Construction and Realty, Ltd. based in Southfield, MI, which is an asset manager of apartment and retail properties. In 2002, he became a founding non-executive director of Leader Bank in Arlington, MA.

Mr. Silverman graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 1985 with an AB in Mathematics. He is currently the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. In 1991, Mr. Silverman earned the degree of Master of Science in Management, with a concentration in Finance, from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA. He is an active alumnus of MIT, where he currently serves on the board of the MIT Museum.
