Malcolm Stewart is Chief Operating Officer of Camden Property Trust and Chairman of Camden’s Investment Committee.

After graduating from Texas A&M University, Mr. Stewart served three years as a Regular Army Officer in various assignments and locations. At Camden, Mr. Stewart has successfully developed real estate business units such as privatized public development of office buildings, hospitals, governmental and university facilities, and student housing. He has structured and managed numerous real estate revenue enhancement programs and has been responsible for the construction, development, or acquisition/disposition of billions of dollars of real estate assets. Mr. Stewart is responsible for all operations across the United States.

Mr. Stewart is actively engaged in community services, has served in various capacities, and was named Humanitarian of the Year by the Gulf Coast Sickle Cell Association.He is an active supporter of Texas A&M University, and has been inducted into the Corps of Cadets Hall of Honor, its highest award. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Texas A&M Masters of Real Estate Program. Mr. Stewart supports numerous charity and veteran organizations including the Lupus Foundation, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Lone Survivor, and he sponsors multiple university scholarship programs.
