Meg Spriggs joined Shorenstein in 2013. She is responsible for overseeing multifamily housing transactions for the Shorenstein family. This includes sourcing and evaluating, as well as financing, acquiring, entitling, developing, managing and divesting of assets, and supporting other Shorenstein professionals in the evaluation and execution of mixed-use projects with a multifamily component. Ms. Spriggs has received recognition as an innovative and influential business leader, most recently she was among the San Francisco Business Times’ “Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business” for years 2014 and 2015, and in 2013 she was in the top 40 list for the Bay Area’s brightest rising stars under the age of 40.

Ms. Spriggs is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Lambda Alpha International, and the San Francisco Urban Planning and Research Association. Ms. Spriggs also serves on the board of directors for the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, and is a founding board member of ArtCare, in support of the public and civic arts programs of the San Francisco Arts Commission.

Prior to joining Shorenstein, Ms. Spriggs was a vice president of development for AvalonBay Communities, Inc. where she was responsible for land acquisition, design, entitlement, and permitting, as well as oversight of the construction and lease-up of multifamily properties in the San Francisco Bay Area region.

Ms. Spriggs graduated from University of Oregon with a B.A. and from Columbia University with an M.S.
