Michael J. Lynd, Jr. is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Kairoi Residential. He is the co-founder of the acquisitions and development partnerships in 2003 and 2006 respectively, as well as a founding partner of Kairoi. Michael provides strategic direction and leadership across the entire corporate platform.He has a valuable network of relationships with institutional joint venture partners, lenders and property owners which he has developed over his career.

Michael has been deeply involved in the multifamily business as an owner and operator since 1995. He has over 23 years of experience in the fields of multifamily management, investment, and development and has invested in, developed, and disposed of more than $4.3 billion of real estate over the past 15 years.

Michael and his development team have developed high rise buildings in Chicago, Miami, Austin, and Denver while winning a prestigious awards for High Rise of the Year and runner up in both Chicago and Austin and has set all-time records at the time of sale for price per unit and per foot in Chicago, Austin, and Denver. Michael along with partner Sam Kasparek are also General Partners in the ownership group of the historic Hancock Tower in Chicago.

Mr. Lynd has also presided over the successful deployment and investment management of four (4) discretionary investment funds whose investment track records have all fallen within the top two quartiles of private real estate funds as benchmarked by Prequin.

Michael graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance.In connection with his role as Chairman of the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority, Michael serves on the Alamo Area MPO Transportation Policy Board and in the San Antonio Mobility Coalition. He also serves on the Advisory Board for The Bank of San Antonio and The Bank of Austin. Michael plays a large role in the San Antonio business community as well having previously held the position of Vice Chairman and currently serving on the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.
