In this role, he is responsible for managing the origination process of a broad range of commercial mortgage products, including debt structuring; pricing strategy; client management; and negotiation of loan documents, throughout southern California and the Pacific Southwest region. Additionally, he has portfolio management responsibilities for the company’s General Account mortgage portfolio for the same territory. John is located in Los Angeles.

John is an established professional with considerable experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. Since joining the company in 2003, he has been engaged in loan originations across all property types and capital sources and has originated and closed more than $8 billion in loans on all property types and capital sources. His career includes positions at GE Capital and Goldman Sachs.

John earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, and serves on the ULI Industrial and Office Park Development Council.
