Steven L. Eggert is the Founder and President of Anton Development Company, based in Foster City near San Francisco, California. Anton Development Company develops, constructs, owns and manages multifamily rental apartments throughout California, with a particular focus on the Bay Area. He has developed more than 9,000 rental apartments in over 50 projects with a value of over $2 billion.

Mr. Eggert earned a bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College and a law degree from Boalt Hall at U.C. Berkeley. He served as a U.S. Army officer and Airborne Ranger, stationed in Germany patrolling the Iron Curtain. Steve practiced real estate law in Newport Beach, California, before becoming a real estate developer.

Mr. Eggert is a trustee of Claremont McKenna College and is a member of the Multifamily Council of the Urban Land Institute. He has previously served as a local elected official, a planning commissioner, and on the board of the California Chamber of Commerce.
