Molly Bordonaro oversees the Firm’s investment management practice including the co-mingled institutional real estate funds and asset management group. Molly has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience including transactions, financing, management, leasing and fund development.

Prior to joining Gerding Edlen, Molly was a principal in the Portland office of The Gallatin Group, securing public financing for large private-public real estate projects. Concurrently, she was a co-founding director of an investment fund specializing in the financing of real estate developments in low and moderate-income areas. From 2005 – 2009, Molly took time out from real estate to serve as the United States Ambassador to the Republic of Malta, becoming the first American diplomat to receive Malta’s highest medal of honor for her significant contributions to Malta and the Mediterranean region. She has also served as a member of the U.S. Congressional Commission on the Advancement of Women in Science and Technology, and as a member of the board of directors of the Fannie Mae Corporation and Moda Health.

Molly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado.
