Hal Kern joined Marcus & Millichap in 2014 as Director of the National Multi-Housing Group’s Carolina practice. Specializing in Multi-Housing Sales and Valuation, Kern offers strategic advisory and brokerage services for regional and national clients. As a 10-year industry veteran, Hal Kern focuses on Primary and Secondary markets throughout North and South Carolina.

Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Hal Kern was a Vice President with CBRE’s Multi-Housing Group from 2010 – 2014. Before joining CBRE, Mr. Kern worked with Brown Investment Properties where he represented numerous clients in the disposition and acquisition of Multi-Housing assets throughout the Carolina’s between 2004 and 2009.
