Mark Cantrell
President
Cantrell McCulloch
In January 2001, Mark Cantrell, Tim Cantrell, and Bobby McCulloch founded Cantrell McCulloch, Inc. (CMI). Mark is involved in the day-to-day operations of CMI and is in charge of business development, including directing the sales staff, developing marketing materials, implementing marketing strategy, and some direct sales. Additionally, due to his 29 years in the real estate brokerage/ownership business, Mark is often consulted on values and discussions on how to best approach the appraisal district on protests. Under Mark and partner Bobby McCulloch’s direction, CMI has grown into one of the five largest DFW area property tax firms and third largest Texas’ multi family consultant.
Mark was born in 1960 and raised in McKinney, Texas. He graduated from Baylor University in 1982 receiving a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
In January of 1984, Mark’s real estate career began when he joined Marcus & Millichap, the fourth largest real estate brokerage company in the nation. From 1989 through 1996, he was recognized for outstanding sales performance, with special recognition in 1990 as the Company’s #3 Earner out of approximately 400 total nationwide agents. From 1990 through 1996, he was the top overall producer in earnings and sales volume in the company’s three Texas offices.
In February 1997, Mark, along with his brother Tim, founded The Cantrell Company, specializing in multifamily brokerage.
