Mike is a founding Principal of Broome Capital, a Tampa Bay-based firm concentrating on opportunistic and value-add strategies primarily targeting the single and multifamily sectors. Broome Capital has over 650 residential, multifamily and commercial assets under ownership and management. Through its affiliate Icon Residential, Broome has been heavily focused on ground-up multifamily for-sale development in urban infill locations across the Southeast. Mike has extensive experience overseeing the operations and acquisitions facets of the business, as well as raising capital to execute the various opportunistic strategies. He is also responsible for overseeing the land acquisition strategy for Icon Residential. Mike is a second generation Principal in the real estate business, coming from a family-owned real estate investment and asset management company (Proluxe Properties) that has been in operation for over 30 years.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Florida having received a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and a Master’s in Business Management. Mike is a licensed commercial and residential Building Contractor with the State of Florida and also holds a Florida Real Estate Broker’s License. He has also achieved a Master’s of Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
